Τα τμήματα του διαγωνιστικού χορού είναι εκείνα που έχουν ως στόχο τη συμμετοχή σε διαγωνισμούς χορού διαφόρων κατηγοριών.
Η προετοιμασία γίνεται τόσο σε πλαίσια βηματολογίου όσο και σε πλαίσιο τεχνικής και παρουσίασης. Υπάρχουν κατηγορίες που απευθύνονται σε ομαδικές χορογραφίες όπως ο συγχρονισμός αποτελεί το πλέον σημαντικό στοιχείο, άλλες που απευθύνονται χορευτικά ζευγάρια όλων των ηλικιών και άλλες που απευθύνονται σε μαθητές συνοδευόμενους από τους δασκάλους τους.
Σε αυτού του είδους τα τμήματα δουλεύουμε εντατικά πάνω σε συγκεκριμένες χορογραφίες με τρόπο όμως ώστε οι μαθητές να αποκομίζουν γενικότερα οφέλη σε σχέση με το χορό. Στόχος είναι η εκπαίδευση χορευτών με ολοκληρωμένες γνώσεις και προοπτικές.
